Mr Malik is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon whose main private practice is based at Droitwich Spa Hospital. He also works at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Alexandra Hospital, and Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre.
He specialises in shoulder, elbow, and knee surgery, with particular expertise in sports injuries, arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery, and complex soft tissue reconstruction.
Mr Malik graduated in Medicine from Cardiff University in 2007, having previously completed a BSc (Hons) at St George’s, University of London.
He completed his foundation training in London through the North Thames Foundation School before moving to Birmingham for higher specialist orthopaedic training on the highly regarded Birmingham Orthopaedic Training Programme (BOTP).

He passed the Fellowship examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2017 and achieved his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2018.
Following completion of his specialist training, Mr Malik undertook more than two years of advanced fellowship training in sports and upper limb surgery.

Alongside his clinical work, Mr Malik is actively involved in surgical education and training.
Early in his consultant career, he was appointed Training Programme Director for Core Surgical Trainees at Health Education England West Midlands. He continues to support the development of future surgeons through teaching on FRCS (Tr & Orth) courses and national orthopaedic training programmes.
