Mr Naique has been practising Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon for the past 20years, both in the UK and Abroad. He joined The Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust (St Marys Hospital & Charing Cross Hospital) in 2008 as a consultant. Since then, he has been a lead member of the hip and knee arthroplasty firm at Charing Cross Hospital and the senior surgeon in Complex Limb Salvage and Reconstruction at St Mary’s Hospital Major Trauma Centre.

Hip and knee arthroplasty with Specialist Interests in NAVIGATED Partial and Total Knee Replacement: using the NAVIO Robotic Arm Whilst hip and knee replacements are becoming more common, the use of robotic technology to perform the surgery allows a precision and joint balance that is known to improve patient outcomes and recovery. The robot allows accurate mapping of the patients joint and uses a fine sculpting tool to allow reshaping of the arthritic joint to accommodate the new Ceramic implants
Knee Arthroscopic Procedures: These keyhole procedures are used for treating cartilage lesions, swelling of knee and help cure symptoms of locking, clicking and pain, allowing an early return to sports and leisure activities.
Acute Fractures and Trauma: As part of the Major Trauma Centre, Mr Naique regularly treats patient for lower limb trauma including fractures of hip, femur, tibia, knee and Foot and Ankle. These injuries need fixation using the latest technology – MIS plates, Nails, Antibiotic Private Consultations at : 1. The Clementine Churchill Hospital Harrow on the hill Harrow. 2. Bishopswood Hospital Northwood. 3. Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth 60 Grove End road; London. NW8 9NH. 4. Imperial Private Healthcare Charing Cross Hospital St Marys Hospital. London coated Implants and sometimes in severe cases the use of ILizarov type of Circular External Fixation systems.
Complex trauma: A lot of his practice is focussed in managing fractures with failed fixations, previous inadequate surgery, INFECTON, and Open Fractures. He manages Open Fractures in a MDT team which include a Plastic Surgeon, radiologist and Microbiologist allowing management of these injuries in keeping with International Guidelines.
Lower Limb Reconstruction: This practice involves correcting bone deformity (usually due to infection, surgery or trauma), treatment of non-unions-un united fractures with multiple previous surgeries, infections and malunions Foot and ankle procedures he uses the Ilizarov type of Circular external Fixation System and hexapod Frame for treating bone defects, deformed bones using the techniques of Bone Transport, Masquelet technique, and Acute shortening and lengthening.
Bone Infections, Fracture Related Infection and Osteomyelitis: Mr Naique leads a multidisciplinary team who specialises in treating these conditions. He is an integral part of the renowned Ortho-plastic Team dealing with Open Limb injuries. This allows simultaneous assessment and management of severe open limb injuries by consultants in Orthopaedics and Plastics, working alongside to provide credible Limb Salvage Options after severe limb threatening Injuries. This is in line with the best practice guidelines as recommended by NICE and British Orthopaedic Association standard of Care.
Limb Lengthening: He specialises in using the Internal Bone lengthening nail and circular Frames for lengthening limbs. He does not however perform cosmetic stature lengthening.
Foot and Ankle Surgery: Mr Naique undertakes surgeries for correction of foot and ankle problems deformities including ankle arthritis, bunions, toe deformities, foot and ankle deformities, and traumatic injuries.
Teaching and research: He is an accredited teacher and lecture in the field of Limb Reconstruction regularly in Europe, China, South Africa and the US, helping promote new techniques and develop expertise in the field. Mr Naique continues to publish his work and is part of the Imperial Research team for looking at new bone healing therapies, assessing trauma algorithms and outcomes, Joint replacement outcomes and Robotic joint replacement.
