Mr Sasindran Ramar is a leading robotic surgeon ( key hole surgery with the help of robot where surgeon fully controls the robot ) with over 30 years of experience in surgery and a proven track record in robotic upper GI, metabolic, and bariatric procedures. Based at King’s College Hospital, London, he is nationally recognised for his skill in robotic gastric bypass including mini bypass, robotic sleeve gastrectomy, and robotic revision bariatric surgery and robotic gastric band surgery.

 

He also offers advanced robotic operations including cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, abdominal wall reconstruction, and anti-reflux surgery. With over 300 robotic surgeries to date and an average of 25 procedures a month, Mr Ramar is noted for his outstanding safety record and surgical outcomes. The procedures Mr Ramar performs are:
