Personal Profile

After graduating (MBBS) from Mysore in India, Dr Deepak became a house officer in the Western isles in Scotland. He completed his higher medical training (MRCP) in the North West, at Burnley and then proceeded to train in cardiology working at Blackpool, Bury, Crew and Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester.

He completed his specialist training (CCT) in the West Midlands Cardiology Training Programme with sub-speciality training in complex device implantation and management for Heart failure (Implantation of biventricular pacemakers, CRTP- Cardiac resynchronization therapy and Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators-ICD to prevent arrhythmic death) and Electrophysiology-EP (Ablation for cardiac arrhythmias, management of palpitations and syncope. He has also worked with specialist Heart failure/ transplant teams in Manchester and Birmingham.
