About Sarah Williams

Personal Profile

Sarah has been a physiotherapist at Three Shires for 20 years, having previously worked in the NHS gaining experience in all areas of physiotherapy. She currently works in our outpatient department and is skilled at enabling patients to achieve their full potential, whether this is following orthopaedic surgery or following a musculoskeletal injury. She maintains an excellent level of clinical knowledge, with a special interest in shoulders and spinal conditions.

Sarah successfully completed a 2-year training course to become a McKenzie Accredited Therapist in the management of spinal conditions. To complement this, Sarah has also trained as a Pilates Instructor and continues to attend courses in shoulder rehabilitation, Pilates for post-spinal surgery and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Vestibular Rehabilitation is another area of special interest for Sarah; training in this area has given her the specialised knowledge and skills to be able to offer a comprehensive assessment and treatment for these patients.
