About Sara Kaur

Personal Profile

Sara qualified as a physiotherapist in 2010 from Manipal University, India, and went on to complete a twinning MSc in Sports and Clinical Biomechanics through a joint programme between Manipal University and Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen (2011–2012).

She brings a wealth of experience across multiple areas of physiotherapy, having worked in two NHS trusts (Grampian and Highlands) with rotations in trauma, community care, respiratory, and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, including specialties in the spine, lower limb, and paediatrics.

Sara’s early career took her across two continents, providing care to patients from a wide range of backgrounds. This international experience has enhanced her ability to manage a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal injuries from sedentary/amateur to elite athletes.

Multilingual in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, Sara's cultural awareness and communication skills support her in delivering inclusive and compassionate care.

She is a firm believer in patient-centred care, patient engagement, and education as core components of effective rehabilitation. Sara works closely with her patients to help them take an active role in their recovery and long-term self-management.

Sara has particular expertise in ankle rehabilitation, GaitScan™ analysis, shoulder and spinal conditions, and paediatric MSK injuries, while also offering support for general physiotherapy needs.
