About Dr Santosh Raga

Personal Profile

Dr Raga after being qualified in India, undertook foundation and internal medicine training in various hospitals in England and Wales.  After successfully completing the Member of Royal college of Physicians UK examinations he moved to Scotland to undertake specialist training in Cardiology at Inverness and Aberdeen. Upon completion of training, he was appointed into his current job as a consultant Cardiologist in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Dr Raga routinely sees patients with a wide range of known cardiac problems, including; angina, heart failure, valvular heart disease and arrhythmias; and for investigation of symptoms including: chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations and collapse. 

As well as being part of the busy clinical department at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, he is also actively involved in training of both medical students and trainee doctors in the department.

All aspects of general cardiology with additional sub-speciality interest in heart failure and Cardiac Implantable Devices.
