About Sanjin Idriz

Personal Profile

Dr Sanjin Idriz is a Cambridge-educated Consultant Radiologist with extensive experience in CT, MRI and Ultrasound imaging.

As the Head, Neck and Thyroid lead at the Royal Surrey County Hospital he specialises in image-guided procedures of the head and neck regions.

Teaching

Dr Idriz enjoys teaching, training Radiolgy registrars in the Kent, Surrey and Sussex training scheme as well as giving teaching to medical and ENT juniors. He is a member of the British Medical Association local negotiating committee and is actively involved in promoting safety and well-being for the junior and senior doctors locally. 

Current Practice

Dr Idriz is the radiologist for the regional head and neck, thyroid and parathyroid multi-disciplinary meetings (MDTs) at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford.

He is very experienced in oncological imaging, particularly of the urinary tract and the bowel. As the imaging lead for inflammatory bowel disease (at the Royal Surrey), he also has extensive experience of benign bowel pathologies.
