About Dr Sanjeev Patel

Personal Profile

Dr Patel qualified from the University of Southampton in 1984. He has worked in a variety of hospitals in England and in New Zealand. Following training in general internal medicine he specialised in rheumatology. Dr Patel was a consultant in general medicine and rheumatology from 1996 to 2017 at Epsom & St Helier Hospitals.

He then moved to King's College Hospital in London where he does 5 rheumatology clinics per week and on-call for acute rheumatology. He has particular interest in metabolic bone diseases such as osteoporosis, inflammatory arthritis (such as rheumatoid arthritis and gout), vasculitis and connective diseases.

He sees patients with a wide range of rheumatological conditions including:
