Mr Tiroumal has an experience of over 27 years in Ophthalmology. He has been a substantive consultant in the NHS since 2014. His main sub-specialty interests are Cataract Surgery and Medical Retina diseases. He has performed over 7,500 cataract surgeries. He is specialised in managing macular diseases which need intravitreal eye injections such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusion with macular oedema.

He also has extensive experience in managing general Ophthalmology diseases including dry eyes, glaucoma and correction of lid disorders such as ectropion, entropion and blepharoplasty.
