Dr Salil Singh is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Beaumont Hospital in Bolton.

He graduated from The University of Manchester in 2006. His PhD subject matter was 'Swallowing Problems'. After graduating, he completed his higher specialist training in the North West Deanery rotation. He was appointed as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust Hospital in 2010.

Dr Singh has articles published on a variety of gastroenterological subjects. These include:

  • Swallowing physiology and dysphagia
  • Electrical stimulation for swallowing disabilities
  • Lactic acidosis in the diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and colorectal polyps

He is currently the Endoscopy and Bowel Screening Lead at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust Hospital.
