About Dr Sajir Mohamedbhai

Personal Profile

Dr Sajir Mohamedbhai graduated with Distinction from the University of Cambridge in 2002. He completed his post-graduate medical training at Charing Cross Hospital and specialized in Haematology in 2010 at University College Hospital (UCH) in London.

In 2014, Dr Mohamedbhai was appointed as a substantive Consultant Haematologist at North Middlesex Hospital, with a joint appointment at UCH. He currently serves as the Clinical Lead for the Haematology Department at North Middlesex Hospital. Additionally, he is the departmental Education Lead and is actively involved in both undergraduate and post-graduate medical training in Haematology for UCL medical students.

Clinical Interests

Dr Mohamedbhai sees patients with haematological malignancies (including chronic leukaemias, lymphoma, myeloma and myelodysplasia) and general haematology problems. He runs a large diagnostic clinic at North Middlesex Hospital and at UCH for patients with a range of blood count abnormalities as well as patients with suspected blood cancers. He is involved in recruiting patients into national clinical trials in lymphoma and CLL. At UCH he is part of a large, internationally recognised team involved in looking after patients with lymphoma.
