Personal Profile

Dr Shaik is a Consultant Neurologist at the Regional Neurosciences Centre at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He completed his General Medical training in the Northwest and subsequently completed Neurology Training from the Northwest Deanery.

Dr Shaik is proficient in a wide variety of neurological conditions including, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and neuromuscular disorders. He has a special interest in muscle disorders and is currently the Clinical Lead at Lancashire NHS trust Regional Neurosciences centre.

He also has a keen interest in education and is the clinical and educational supervisor for the Neurology trainees and is also an Academic advisor for Manchester University Medical students.
