Dr Khan completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at CMH Lahore Medical College in April 2014, achieving distinctions in Anatomy and Biochemistry.
She completed her Foundation Programme between June 2014 and May 2015, gaining experience in psychiatry, paediatrics, emergency medicine, gynaecology, and surgery. She has been registered with the General Medical Council since August 2017.
She worked as a Junior Clinical Fellow at Guy’s and St Thomas’ and Northwick Park hospitals between August 2018 and June 2019. From August 2019 to February 2023, she completed Specialty Registrar training in General Practice with Health Education England in the East Midlands. She achieved her Certificate of Completion of Training and became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in February 2023.
