Miss Ali is an experienced, professional and friendly Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeon.
Warm and approachable, she treats adults for a range of ENT and thyroid conditions including tonsillitis, laryngitis and adenoid infections, neck lumps, treatment of ear infections nasal polyps and cancer diagnosis.
She specialises in general ENT conditions and offers expert treatment for diseases such as tonsil and adenoid issues, voice and vocal cord problems, along with the rapid diagnosis of neck lumps. She also treats patients for dizziness, glue ear, ear wax removal, tinnitus and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD).
Procedures Miss Ali regularly performs include: tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, removal of neck lumps, sinus surgery, nasal polypectomy (removal of polyps from within the nose), septoplasty (straightening the septum, deviated septum), and thyroidectomy.
Training and experience
Miss Ali is a graduate of the University Of Glasgow and trained as an Ear Nose Throat (ENT) Surgeon on the East Of Scotland training scheme, including Inverness, Aberdeen and Edinburgh. Miss Ali later gained a prestigious Research Fellowship from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, USA.
After training, Miss Ali gained a further sub-specialty in Head and Neck ablative and reconstructive surgery courtesy of Clinical Fellowships at Guys and Charing Cross Hospitals, London. She is now a Consultant ENT/Head & Neck Surgeon at The Royal London and University College London Hospitals treating adult patients with general ENT conditions and specialising in benign and malignant conditions of the Head & Neck.
