About Dr Rosol Hamid

Personal Profile

Dr Hamid is a consultant gynaecologist with a special interest in benign gynaecology surgery including menstrual disorders, menopause, fibroids, ovarian cysts, contraception and  hormonal problems. She provides specialist operative and non-operative treatments of various conditions. She uses the latest diagnostic tools in diagnosis and treatment of vast variety of gynaecological conditions.

She uses keyhole (Laparoscopic or hysteroscopic) surgery to treat various uterine and pelvic conditions. She has a specialist interest in managing fibroids.

Dr Hamid trained in Southwest Thames and London Hospitals 1984-1998  and has been a consultant at Croydon University hospital since 1999. She gained extensive experience in operative gynaecological techniques.
