About Mr Robert Rednic

Personal Profile

Mr Rednic practiced Obstetrics and Gynaecology for over a decade.

His personal experience is diverse with exposure to medical systems from Europe and United Kingdom. His clinical practice is evidence-based, and patient centred, with strong emphasis on the application of new innovative treatment modalities like minimal access surgery for benign gynaecological disease. Mr Rednic has completed University of Medicine and Pharmacy ‘Victor Babes’ Timisoara Romania in 2011 obtaining his Medical Doctor MD title.

Mr Rednic started training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2012 and completed his training in 2017, obtaining his consultant title. Throughout the training he started working part time in UK from 2014 to gain international experience and understand how other medical systems work. During his training in two medical systems, he has developed his skills in open surgery and laparoscopic surgery. After completing training in 2017, he acquired multiple accreditations in Romania and UK

His accreditations include Romania Ministry of Health accreditation in Hysteroscopic surgery, Laparoscopic surgery, Ultrasound and IVF accreditation. He has also obtained membership of the British Fertility Society in 2021 - Management of the infertile couple.

In 2018, Mr Rednic started his PhD with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timisoara and completed this in 2023 after publishing his research internationally and published many scientific papers obtaining his PhD title in human medicine. Throughout his career in UK which has started in 2014, he has worked in various NHS trusts, at different levels including, but not limited to Jersey Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Manchester St. Mary’s, University Hospital Crosshouse, Lincoln County Hospital, Scunthorpe and Doncaster. Between 2017 and 2022 Mr Rednic has worked in both UK and Romania to build up exposure and to gain experience in more hostile working environment. In 2022 Mr Rednic had his senior consultant exam in Romania and sequent in July 2022 Mr Rednic started to work as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist where is his current NHS base.
