Dr Chandel completed his specialist training in Gastroenterology at several hospitals across the East of England. He was awarded his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2016.

He then became a Consultant Gastroenterologist in Hertfordshire, where he worked in both the NHS and private practice for almost ten years. His busy private practice across three hospitals provided extensive experience in all aspects of gastroenterology.
