Mr Mohamed Razick Sait is a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon specialising in the assessment and treatment of adult benign and malignant breast conditions. He is on the General Medical Council Specialist Register and has over 20 years of NHS experience in the United Kingdom, including more than 10 years at consultant level. He currently works within the Breast Unit at King Edward VII Hospital, Windsor, part of Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, and offers private consultations and surgery at The Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor.

Following primary medical qualification (MBBS), Mr Sait completed his Masters training in surgery (MS) and Membership examinations of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCSEd) and the Intercollegiate exit Fellowship exams (FRCS) in surgery with breast subspecialty interest. His specialist training was undertaken in the United Kingdom and overseas and included a dedicated fellowship in breast oncoplastic surgery at The Royal Marsden Hospital, London. He has worked in symptomatic and breast-screening services at several major UK university hospitals, including Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire.

At The Princess Margaret Hospital, Mr Sait provides rapid-access and one-stop breast assessment for adults with breast symptoms or breast concerns. Common reasons for consultation include screen-detected breast abnormalities, benign breast disease and patients with a new diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of breast cancer. He also assesses, where appropriate, breast lumps, breast pain, changes in breast skin/shape, nipple discharge, nipple eczema, breast infection, abscesses, mastitis and swelling in the armpit. Where appropriate, clinical examination, breast imaging and needle biopsies are carried out promptly to reduce uncertainty and complete a comprehensive breast triple assessment.

Mr Sait's specialist expertise covers a wide range of breast cancer and oncoplastic procedures. These include image-guided, wire-guided and Magseed-guided wide local excision or lumpectomy, level 1 and level 2 oncoplastic breast-conserving surgery, therapeutic mammoplasty, local tissue displacement and volume-replacement techniques and surgery to improve breast symmetry. He performs skin-sparing and nipple-sparing mastectomy where clinically appropriate together with immediate implant-based breast reconstruction using implants and acellular dermal matrix or mesh. His reconstructive practice also includes implant exchange or removal, revision surgery, fat grafting (lipofilling) and nipple reconstruction.

Axillary (armpit) procedures include sentinel lymph node biopsy to stage cancer using isotope, Magtrace or blue dye, targeted axillary dissection and axillary lymph node clearance. 

He also offers risk-reducing mastectomy where appropriate for patients with an inherited or otherwise significantly increased risk of breast cancer, including patients with BRCA gene mutations. 

Benign breast procedures include excision biopsy, removal of breast lumps and microdochectomy (total duct excision) for troublesome nipple discharge.

A central part of Mr Sait's practice is multidisciplinary care. He participates in regular breast multidisciplinary team meetings with breast surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, oncologists and specialist breast care nurses. This ensures that imaging, biopsy results, pathology and treatment options are reviewed together and recommendations are tailored to each patient's diagnosis, priorities and general health. He supports shared decision-making and takes time to explain the advantages, limitations, reasoning and likely recovery associated with each option in a clear and straightforward manner with simple language.
