Professor Ramon De Mello is an internationally distinguished Consultant Medical Oncologist, renowned for his strategic leadership in Gastrointestinal (GI) oncology. With a dual commitment to academic excellence and clinical precision, he provides world-class, bespoke cancer care at The Blackheath Hospital and his private practice on Harley Street, London. Within the NHS, he serves as a Senior Substantive Consultant at the Kent Oncology Centre, leading the GI medical oncology services at Darent Valley Hospital.
Prior to his current roles, Professor De Mello advanced his sub-specialty expertise at the University of Oxford, where he served as both a Consultant Medical Oncologist at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and a Senior Clinical Researcher.
Academic Leadership & Global Authority Professor De Mello’s influence extends to the highest levels of global medical education and research. He currently holds the prestigious position of Visiting Professor at the Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS), University of Kent, and serves as Professor of Medical Oncology at Universidade Nove de Julho (UNINOVE) in São Paulo.
