About Mr Rajeshwar Krishnan

Personal Profile

Mr Rajesh Krishnan, graduated from KG Medical College in India and trained in India and the UK. After completing his General Surgical Training, he specialised in Urological Surgery and has over 25 years of experience as a Consultant in Urology. After completing his training, he worked as a Consultant in Lucknow, India for many years. He has been working as a Consultant at the East Kent Hospital University Foundation Trust for over 10 years.

Apart form General Urology and management of BPH, his special interests are in the fields of Urethral Reconstruction; Minimally Invasive Treatment for Urinary Stone Disease and Paediatric Urology (Circumcision, Orchidopexy and Inguino-scrotal Surgery).

He established the sub-speciality of Urethral Reconstruction in Kent and is the only surgeon in Kent performing the procedure. He led the Stone and Paediatric Urology services at Kent & Canterbury Hospital and is an Hon. Senior Lecturer for the GKT Medical School.
