Mr Rajesh Bawale is a specialist Hip and knee surgeon with extensive experience in hip and knee pathologies, injuries and treatment of the degenerative Hip and knee disease. Mr Bawale has a particular expertise in complex Hip pathologies, joint reconstruction, joint preservation surgery, total hip replacement and total knee replacement. His expertise involves expert opinion for failed primary hip arthroplasty, simple and complex hip revision arthroplasty procedures.

Mr Bawale completed his junior orthopaedic training in East of England Deanery, specialist orthopaedic training in KSS deanery.

Mr Bawale successfully completed his subspecialty fellowship training from Sunnybrook Holland Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, Canada. His fellowship was focused on expertise in complex Hip pathologies, joint reconstruction, joint preservation surgery, Total hip replacement, total knee replacement, simple and complex hip revision arthroplasty procedures.

Mr Rajesh Bawale is a Consultant Orthopaedic Lower limb arthroplasty Surgeon at Medway Maritime Hospital, where he is the trauma lead and lead Hip revision surgeon. In addition, he is an active surgical trainer, Visiting Honorary Senior Lecturer at Canterbury Christchurch University (Medway Campus) and an educational supervisor for the Specialist Trauma and Orthopaedics trainees, KSS deanery. He has published several articles related to hip and knee pathologies, regularly participates in the National and international conferences.

Mr Bawale collects data on the outcome of his surgery and registers his patients on the National Joint Registry dedicated to analysing and improving the outcomes of Primary Hip, Primary Knee and revision Hip surgery.
