Mr Logishetty is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee surgery at Woodlands Hospital in Darlington. He sees NHS, self-pay and insured patients.
He graduated from Gandhi Medical College in India in 1985. He then undertook a Masters in Orthopaedic Surgery, graduating in 1989.
He came to the UK in 1991 to study for a Masters in Orthopaedics at The University of Liverpool. At the same time, he worked as a Registrar in Orthopaedics at the Arrowe Park Hospital in Liverpool.
Mr Logishetty took his FRCS examination from The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in July 2000. He was appointed as Locum Consultant in 2001 and has been a Substantive Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2010.
He is presently employed as a Lower Limb Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at The University Hospitals of North Tees and Hartlepool (UHNT). Mr Logishetty is the Clinical Governance Lead for Orthopaedics at UHNT, looking after patient safety. He is also a member of the faculty at the Newcastle Surgical Training Centre.
