Mr Rahul Lunawat is a Consultant Urological Surgeon whose NHS practice is with King’s College Hospital based at The Princess Royal University Hospital.
He qualified in Medicine from India in 2001 and then came to the UK in 2002 where he worked in several hospitals. Following his basic surgical training and MD (Clinical Research) at University College London he secured in 2010 a Specialist Training in Leeds. After completing FRCS (Urol) in 2014 he went on to have Sub-Specialist Fellowship training in Stone and upper tract disease from Nottingham in 2015.
He has presented at national meetings and has been involved in several peer reviewed publications. He has been a tutor at UCL Medical school.
His special interest is in kidney stone and he also undertakes a wide range of general urological procedures.
