About Ms Rachel Wood
Personal Profile
Rachel graduated from Coventry University school of Physiotherapy in 2001. She has since gone on to complete post graduate training in areas including Pilates, acupuncture and hydrotherapy.
She worked for 12 years in the NHS and gained experience in different areas of Physiotherapy before specialising in musculoskeletal outpatients in 2004. In 2010 Rachel moved into private practice and started working at Bath clinic, part of Circle Health Group.
Rachel has a wealth of experience in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions in both the NHS and private settings. She has a special interest in hydrotherapy and spinal conditions but also offers expert assessment and treatment for other musculoskeletal conditions.
Rachel uses a variety of rehabilitation and treatment techniques, including specialist treatments such as acupuncture and shockwave therapy. She also focuses on helping patients take an active role in their recovery through patient education, empowerment and self-management.
