Dr Pravin Jha is a highly experienced Consultant Geriatrician with over 20 years of expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of age-related conditions. He completed his specialist training in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine in the West Midlands and currently holds NHS consultant posts at Rotherham General Hospital and the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield. He also sees private patients at Thornbury Hospital.

Dr Jha provides holistic, consultant-led care with particular expertise in memory disorders, Parkinson’s disease, stroke and TIA, osteoporosis, dizziness, falls, frailty, and complex medical problems in older adults. His approach goes beyond treating symptoms - he focuses on identifying the root causes of cognitive and functional decline, taking into account physical, emotional, and social factors. Dr Jha believes in providing the highest standards of clinical care and his service is patient-centred with consultation times offered outside of normal working hours, making it accessible and convenient for patients and relatives. He also visits patient at home for clinical assessment (home visit). This approach leads to very high levels of patient satisfaction.
