Dr Hendley is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. She graduated from Kings College London in 2000 and worked in and around London, before completing her General Practice training in Guildford and Wonersh, Surrey.
She has also worked as an NHS GP in West Byfleet, Surrey for many years both as a partner and also in salaried positions. She enjoys keeping her knowledge and skills updated and the challenge of keeping up with new developments.
Dr Hendley also has a certificate in palliative care which is an interest she developed whilst attending nursing home patients. She has considerable experience in caring for the elderly and those with dementia but enjoys all aspects of patient care and looking after a wide variety of patients and conditions.
Over recent years Dr Hendley has enjoyed the new challenge of private general practice and the opportunity to spend more time with patients, to allow more thorough treatment and education. She has also developed skills and experience in health screening as these assessments are offered to patients, both as bespoke packages for the practice patients and also in conjunction with Circle Health Group at Mount Alvernia Hospital.
Dr Hendley is one of the Guildford Private General Practice doctors. Established in 2013, this practice encompasses UK-trained doctors with many years of experience working in general practice, as well as within a hospital environment.
They have long established, close relationships with many Mount Alvernia Hospital consultants and health professionals, so can tailor their referrals to the most appropriate specialist for your particular problem.
As well as providing advance and same day generous 30-minute appointments, immediate access to tests, x-rays and scans on site, the doctors offer discretion, second opinions, quick onward referrals, and a variety of health assessments.
