Dr Petr Ruzicka is a Consultant Cardiologist within Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest cardiac centres in the UK. He is based at Trafford General Hospital and delivers cardiology services across the Trust, including outpatient clinics in Altrincham and specialist cardiac CT work at Wythenshawe Hospital. He also contributes to acute inpatient care as part of the Consultant of the Week rota at Manchester Royal Infirmary.
In addition to his NHS role, Dr Ruzicka provides private consultations at The Alexandra Hospital, offering timely access to expert cardiology assessment without waiting lists. All patients attending his clinic undergo a same-day ECG as part of their initial evaluation, ensuring an efficient and structured diagnostic approach from the outset.
Dr Ruzicka has extensive experience in general cardiology, with a particular focus on the assessment of chest pain and the use of cardiac CT. Since moving to the UK in 2007, he has worked as a Consultant Cardiologist within Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
