About Dr Peter Chapman

Personal Profile

Dr Chapman is an NHS Radiology Consultant for Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT). His subspecialty interests are Cardiac CT, Musculoskeletal imaging and the
imaging of sports injuries.

Dr Chapman completed a PGDip in Sport and Exercise Medicine from the University of Bath and worked as a Consultant Radiologist at the Glasgow Commonwealth games in 2014 and was the Clinical advisor for Radiology for the Birmingham Commonwealth games in 2022.

Dr Chapman has been a Race Doctor for the UCI Tour of Britain / Women's Tour since 2014 and worked as a Doctor for the 2019 UCI Road World Championships in Harrogate.

Since being appointed in 2014 Dr Chapman has set up and currently leads the Cardiac CT service at HHFT including the introduction of HeartFlow FFR-CT.
