He commenced his plastic surgical training at Mount Vernon Hospital, initially as a research fellow at the RAFT Institute of Plastic Surgery, and was awarded an MD by the University of London in 2001. He subsequently completed specialist registrar training in plastic surgery on the Pan-Thames Plastic Surgery programme, London joining the GMC specialist register for plastic surgery in 2007.
Mr Tulley subsequently undertook further specialist training in microsurgical reconstruction during fellowships in Taipei, Taiwan and Toronto. He gained additional experience in cosmetic surgery during a cosmetic fellowship at the Wellington Hospital, London and further training in the United States.
His main areas of interest are surgery for facial palsy (facial reanimation), breast reconstruction and all areas of cosmetic surgery.
