Mr Patel has established his reputation as a world recognized ophthalmologist at local, regional, national and international levels, presenting his excellent outcomes of surgery and novel techniques at the cutting edge of technology in the field of Ophthalmology. He continues to provide a comprehensive general and specialist ophthalmic service locally and is frequently asked to provide patient led discussions from organizations such as the Macular Society and the Kent Association for the Blind (KAB) on an annual basis.
