Mr Nimesh Jain is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with special interest in Upper limb surgery including Arthroscopy, sports injuries and Joint replacement for Shoulder and Elbow. He also manages Hand and Wrist pathologies including management of fractures. Mr Jain is working as Consultant Orthopaedic Upper limb Surgeon at East Cheshire NHS trust.

Mr Jain has been working in Orthopaedics since 2009. He completed his medical schooling from India in 2008. He completed his Specialist Orthopaedic training Master of Surgery in Orthopaedics from Nagpur India. He gained further fellowship experience in Mumbai, Germany and South Korea. He gained Specialist surgical training in North east England. Mr Jain has become Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2019. He did British Orthopaedic Association Upper limb fellowship in 2021 and completed Trauma fellowship from Liverpool University Hospital in 2021. Mr Jain has completed BOA Clinical Leadership programme in 2021.

Mr Jain has completed MCh in Trauma and Orthopaedics from Teesside University, UK. Mr Jain has keen interest in research and has more than 15 Publications in International peer reviewed journals. He had multiple presentation in National and International conferences. He has been actively involved in various NIHR Multicentre trials in UK.

Mr Jain follows GMC good medical practice and keep himself up to date with expertise and recent advances. He has been regularly involved in teaching and training activities. He is currently working at Macclesfield district general hospital and has been involved in various Quality improvement projects and working as Trauma Lead for department of Orthopaedics at the trust. He is passionate about his work and providing high quality patient centred care.
