Mr Stanojcic has produced a series of scientific research publications as first author in high impact peer-reviewed journals including some landmark studies such as the world’s first one-year results from a randomized controlled trial into laser-assisted cataract surgery. Mr Stanojcic has experience in conducting and leading research projects overseen by the National Institute for Health and Research.
Mr Stanojcic is a winner of the prestigious national Duke-Elder prize in ophthalmology. He has a keen interest in education and training of medical students and ophthalmic surgeons and is a Skills Faculty Trainer at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. In his NHS post as Corneal Lead at West Suffolk NHS Foundation trust, Mr Stanojcic teaches students from Cambridge University Medical School.
