Mr Nick Kopsachilis

Mr Nick Kopsachilis is a Cornea Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and Clinical Lead in Ophthalmology at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, where he performs complex corneal, cataract and refractive cases.

Nick has completed his training in Germany and his subspecialty training in UK’s leading ophthalmic hospitals including Moorfields Eye Hospital and King’s College Hospital in London.

Nick has a keen interest in research and has published over 70 peer reviewed papers

• Keratoconus surgery (fast collagen cross-linking)
• Complex cataract surgery with toric and multifocal lenses

• Sjogren's disease and contact lens related eye problems
• Complex corneal disease including infections, corneal transplantation (full/partial thickness corneal transplants)
