About Dr Navneet Kalsi

Personal Profile

Navneet qualified from Guys, Kings & St Thomas’ School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2002, and went on to complete higher specialist training in Intensive Care, Nephrology and, General Medicine; areas in which she has a passion and competency in.  She has worked in London and the southern counties before being appointed as a Consultant Intensivist and Nephrologist in 2017.  She is highly experienced in dealing with patients who require immediate intervention, quality assessment and the best medical care. 

Navneet usually works as an Intensivist and Nephrologist at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust.  She has developed an acute kidney service within the hospital and enhanced links with critical care and other specialties.  Her other areas of responsibility are as Programme Lead for Sepsis and Deterioration and Trust lead for Acute Kidney Injury.

Navneet is committed to medical education and is also Associate Professor and Faculty member of St Georges University, School of Medicine (Grenada); supporting medical clinical electives in the UK.

Clinical Interests

She has a particular interest in Acute Kidney Injury and prevention of patient deterioration. 

 

She is also skilled in central vascular access and focus echocardiogram in critical care.
