Mr Bhangoo was also granted prestigious travelling fellowships, including time in the USA with Freddie Fu, the founding father of sports knee surgery and time spent with Professor Jean-Noel Argenson in France, an international authority on Partial Knee Replacements. He has spent a year researching and understanding stem-cell technology at University College London and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore.
Mr Bhangoo has helped introduce newer techniques into his field, including personalised computer aided osteotomy, and is currently looking into ground-breaking techniques behind cartilage regeneration.
