Training and Appointment

Dr Hamilton graduated from Newcastle University in 2012 and went on to specialty radiology training at Southampton Hospital, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2018.
Dr Hamilton has trained in cross-sectional radiology, sub-specialising in cardiothoracic and oncology radiology with a particular interest in chest, cardiac and oncology CT and body FDG (fluorodeoxyglucose) PET-CT scanning. She also performs CT-guided lung, mediastinum and pleural biopsies as well as ultrasound guided pleural drainage.
