Mr Venkata Ramana Murthy Kusuma FRCS (Urol) is a nationally recognised Consultant Robotic Urological Cancer Surgeon specialising in advanced robotic surgery for prostate and bladder cancer. A recipient of the National Clinical Impact Award—one of the United Kingdom's highest professional distinctions for NHS consultants—he is recognised for his contributions to clinical excellence, surgical innovation, research leadership and service development.

Mr Kusuma provides personalised, evidence-based care for patients with prostate cancer, bladder cancer and complex urological conditions. His practice encompasses the entire prostate cancer pathway, from early diagnosis and transperineal prostate biopsy through to advanced robotic surgery and survivorship. He is an experienced robotic surgeon and Lead Surgeon for the Supra-regional Robotic Bladder Cancer Service serving the South East of England, delivering a high-volume robotic cystectomy service with totally intracorporeal urinary diversion. He is Principal Investigator for the GRACE Trial, serves on the Steering Committee of a national multicentre robotic surgery study, is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the School of Medicine, University of Surrey, a BAUS CESR Mentor and an Editorial Board Member for Therapeutic Advances in Urology. His contributions have been recognised through the National Clinical Impact Award, NIHR Research Support Award, NIHR Green Shoots Award and inclusion in Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare.
