Mr Muhammad Dherijha is a neurosurgeon with a special interest in spine surgery. He is currently working as a complex spinal surgeon at the Manchester Centre for Clinical Neuroscience, Salford Royal Hospital, Manchester.

Mr Dherijha received his MBBS degree from Nishtar Medical University, Multan. He obtained his FRCS in Neurosurgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. His neurosurgical training took place in London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Manchester. He completed his advanced training in complex spine surgery in Liverpool and Manchester, working with both neurosurgical and orthopaedic spinal surgeons.

Mr Dherijha's major research interests include outcomes related to minimally invasive spine surgery, the cost-effectiveness and value of spinal surgery procedures, and the comparative effectiveness of various treatments for spinal pathology. He has authored articles and presented at various conferences. Additionally, he has contributed to podcasts and articles aimed at educating resident doctors.
