Dr Preston qualified from the University of Manchester with a rotation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the North West Deanery.

She was appointed Consultant in 2005 at Fairfield Hospital, moved to North Manchester Hospital in 2012 and then on to Royal Oldham Hospital in 2017.
