He studied at Cambridge University and Imperial College School of Medicine, qualifying in 2001. His plastic surgery training took place in Bristol, Oxford, Stoke Mandeville and Salisbury. He completed the Hand Surgery fellowship at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, gaining advanced training in hand and wrist surgery.
He completed the Bristol microsurgery fellowship, gaining experience in planning and execution of a broad range of microsurgical cases. He was awarded the UK Hand Diploma in 2014.
Mike maintains an interest in rugby and athletics, having competed at university level as a student. He is keen on cycling and running, and has completed numerous 10K, half-marathon, marathon and triathlon events.
Mr Lamyman has been involved in numerous clinical research projects with a track record of presentations and publication. He has experience of collaboration and facilitation for researchers in Oxford University.
