Dr Mehran Javeed is an Older Adult Psychiatrist working in Greater Manchester.

Following the completion of his medical degree from The University of Manchester, he completed his psychiatry training in Greater Manchester. He has been a Consultant since 2016, working both with experience in inpatient and community-based psychiatry.

His other roles include being an Appraiser, Clinical and Educational Supervisor, and Clinical Director for older adult community services. He recently completed an interim 'Associate Medical Director' role.

He has co-chaired the 'Older Adult Clinical Network' within 'Greater Manchester Mental Health' (GMMH) and is a member of the 'North West Clinical Senate'. Additionally, he was a Trustee in a local Age UK service, a position he held for over three years, along with being an 'Educational Lead' within the trust for more than 5 years.
