After undertaking his basic and higher specialist urological surgical training in tertiary care centres in Ireland and England, he gained FRCS (Urol) in 2014. Having completed his clinical fellowship in Laparoscopic Urology in 2016, he was appointed as Consultant Urological Surgeon.
He is actively involved in teaching medical students both at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, and is faculty of multiple national and international urology courses. He is an active member of professional bodies including BAUS, EAU. He enjoys his role as educator, examiner, clinical and educational supervisor.
He provides acute and elective care to both male and female patients with urological problems. He has vast experience in endo-urological procedures, and performs a wide range of general and core urology procedures routinely.
The treatment and condition that he specialises in is the diagnosing and management of kidney stones, including laser treatments and lithotripsy.
Mr Sheikh believes in providing personalised, patient centred safe care in friendly and compassionate environment.
