He was appointed as a Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant at Dorset County Hospital, Dorchester in 2019, where he specialises in shoulder, elbow and trauma surgery. He is also actively involved in teaching and training in the department, and is the current STC lead for the registrars in training.
He has a specialist interest in complex glenoid deformity in the shoulder and elbow instability injuries. He has published extensively and has been invited as faculty on teaching and cadveric shoulder courses both, here and abroad.
He is a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society, the British Orthopaedic Association and the Royal College of Surgeons.
Outside of work he enjoys running, sea swimming, kite surfing and skiing. He qualified as a ski instructor In Canada and fully appreciates the importance of being able to do what you enjoy. He lives in Poole with his family and 2 dogs.
