Dr Bogdanovic graduated in medicine from the university of Manchester in 1991 and undertook early postgraduate training in London. He received his training in neurology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square and at the Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford under the tutelage of many eminent neurologists. Interspersed with his medical training, he obtained undergraduate (UCL) and postgraduate degrees (Merton College, Oxford) in philosophy, specialising in the philosophy of mind and the philosophy of science. He obtained his MD by research in the field of functional magnetic resonance imaging at the FMRIB centre at the University of Oxford in 2008.
