Dr Mark Hargreaves

Dr Hargreaves is a Consultant Cardiologist and Physician with over 23 years of experience. He qualified from the University of Dundee in 1982 (MB ChB) and completed post-graduate training in Cardiology in Oxford, London and was an International Fellow in Canada (Edmonton).

He is a fellow of both the Royal College of Physicians and European Cardiac Society, and has specialist accreditation in the management of heart failure and cardiac rhythm abnormalities, including complex device therapy (CCDS).

Dr Hargreaves will review patients at short notice in a dedicated weekly clinic at The Highfield Hospital. In addition, he has an established weekly diagnostic ECG (electrical heart tracing) and echocardiography (ultrasound scan of the heart) service and is happy to review patients both with and without referral letters.

His private practice is based at The Highfield Hospital and his NHS practice is based at the Pennine Acute Hospital Group, Greater Manchester. He is registered as an accredited specialist with the GMC and is indemnified with the MDU.
