About Mark Mitchell

Personal Profile

Mr. Mitchell is a graduate of Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and the University of Bristol.

He undertook his initial training in Glasgow and qualified as an Audiologist in 1990. He has over 30 years clinical experience and was recently appointed as Head of Audiology services for NHS Grampian.

Mr. Mitchell is dual-qualified as an Audiologist and Hearing Therapist. He has a well-established private practice having worked at Albyn Hospital since 1995.

He has maintained a strong commitment to continuous professional development throughout his career which culminated when he graduated from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh with a Masters degree with distinction in Rehabilitative Audiology.

He has a specialised interest and expertise in the assessment and management of tinnitus and sound sensitivity disorders. Mr. Mitchell also specialises in advanced hearing assessment and provides tailored hearing solutions using the latest hearing aid technology and other assistive listening devices.
