Dr Hudson-Peacock qualified in medicine from the University of Wales College of Medicine and went on to complete extensive specialist training in dermatology and dermatological/laser surgery in Newcastle upon Tyne. He was appointed as a Consultant Dermatologist at East Kent Hospitals in January 1996, where he worked for 18 years. During this time, he also served as Clinical Lead for the Dermatology Department for five years, playing a key role in developing and delivering high-quality dermatology services across the region.
Following his NHS career, Dr Hudson-Peacock chose to focus on expanding his specialist interests in private practice. He has developed particular expertise in both dermatology and proctology, combining his clinical knowledge with innovation in patient care. He is the founder of eXroid® treatment for internal haemorrhoid disease, a minimally invasive and effective option designed to provide symptom relief without the need for surgery. He is Chairman and Medical Director of eXroid Technology Ltd and associated companies.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Hudson-Peacock is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mantara Health Ltd, a pharmacogenomics company. This work focuses on helping patients receive the most appropriate medications based on their genetic profile, improving treatment outcomes and reducing the risk of side effects.
Clinically, Dr Hudson-Peacock manages all aspects of skin health. He has a particular interest in the surgical management of skin cancer and benign skin lesions, offering expert assessment and treatment in a safe, patient-centred environment. He is also highly experienced in the management of common inflammatory skin conditions, including acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis.
Alongside dermatology, Dr Hudson-Peacock has a specialist interest in proctological conditions. He provides assessment and treatment for conditions such as haemorrhoids, anal skin tags and fissures, with a strong emphasis on conservative, minimally invasive approaches wherever possible.
Dr Hudson-Peacock is a trained laser specialist and Medical Director of Kent Skin and Laser Clinic Ltd. He is committed to delivering high-quality, personalised care, ensuring patients feel informed, supported and confident throughout their treatment journey at Chaucer Hospital.
