Trauma: dealing with poly trauma patients with lower limb involvement and optimising their mechanical function with interventions such as footwear strategies / foot level orthoses / ankle foot orthoses / gait re-education / rehabilitation programs.
Musculoskeletal injury: different sports populations including running / cycling / football and netball at both a domestic and national level standard with interventions such as footwear strategies / foot level orthoses / ankle foot orthoses / return to play protocols / rehabilitation programs.
Neurological: working with patients with brain injury (acquired) / Cerebral Palsy / Charcot Marie Tooth / Spina Bifida / Muscular Dystrophies with interventions such as footwear strategies / foot level orthoses / ankle foot orthoses / gait re-education / rehabilitation programs.
Ankle foot orthoses management post spinal injury / surgery for foot drop interventions.
Inflammatory Joint Disease: working with patients with active and chronic inflammatory joint disease with interventions such as footwear strategies / foot level orthoses / ankle foot orthoses / gait reduction / rehabilitation programs.
Medico-legal Work: his involvement with lower limb trauma has provided extensive experience in mapping out current and future orthotic & footwear needs / expert opinion on clinical negligence / Joint case reports / working with both claimant and defendant based on instructions.
