About Mark Draper

Personal Profile

After qualifying from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, London in 1992, Mr Mark Draper trained in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and throughout the East Anglian Specialist Training rotation gaining a wide experience in adult and paediatric ENT. He complimented his general training with a year’s subspecialty training as a Fellow at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne, Australia where he studied advanced endoscopic sinus surgery and rhinoplasty. He was appointed to the Specialist Register in ENT Surgery in 2005.

Mr Draper was appointed to his NHS Consultant post at Milton Keynes Hospital in 2006. Since 2006 he has provided the Milton Keynes community with a full range of adult and child ENT services and runs the local specialist Rhinology/Facial Plastics and Voice services.

Mr Draper is experienced in dealing with all aspects of adult and paediatric ENT but has a specialist interest in sinus, nasal and rhinoplasty surgery.

Mr Draper is highly experienced in teaching and training, and is currently the Programme Director for the Oxford Regional ENT Surgery Specialist Training Committee overseeing the training of junior specialist ENT surgeons . He is a regular Regional and National lecturer, and Faculty Member for an international Sinus, Rhinoplasty & Nasal Plastic Surgery Course.

As part of the Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Nose Clinic, Mr Draper provides Rhinoplasty and Septorhinoplasty surgery, often seeing more complicated cases referred by ENT and Plastic Surgery colleagues. As a nose specialist he is able to advise patients regarding functional and cosmetic expectations. The software used by the Nose Clinic allows patients to see the expected results post-surgery to ensure decisions are fully informed and that planned surgery meets expectations.
